Our Technology

We utilise technology to help our employees deliver consistent, quality products. By expanding our in-house production capability, we are lowering costs further and increasing efficiencies for our customers.

Right first time

We employ a Poka-Yoke (mistake-proofing) system within our assembly process to ensure our products are of a consistently high quality. Our jigs feature sensors which are triggered when each step in the assembly process is completed. This is displayed on a screen to the operator, so that the correct procedure is followed every time.

All of our assemblies are manually checked before being sent to the customer. Our pick and pack team weighs every kit to ensure exactly the right parts are included. We have full traceability of all our parts, with a QR code label showing the time and date of assembly.

Costs and efficiencies

We work with customers to help them simplify their sourcing, save time on procurement and increase production efficiency.

We will go out of our way to make sure that we meet customer requirements and are flexible to suit their needs.

In house tube forming

Our oven allows us to form our own breather tubes and is one example of our increasing in-house production capability.

By moving to producing more components in-house, we are aiming to improve efficiency and lower costs for our customers.

Oil bottling line

Our oil bottling line forms part of our pick and pack service for automotive aftermarket products.

The system decants oil into 1L bottles, which are then labelled and boxed either individually or in larger quantities. We supply over 250,000 bottles of oil per year.

Health and safety

Looking after our employees is of paramount importance to us. When the Covid-19 pandemic struck, we purchased a sanitisation tunnel to help our employees keep themselves and each other safe.

Our dedicated Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor regularly engages with our employees on these topics and ensures everyone is working in a safe environment.

Quality achievements

Our commitment to quality is recognised through BSI certification. We have achieved the following standards:

– IATF 16949: 2016 (automotive quality management)
– ISO 9001: 2015 (quality management)
– ISO 14001: 2015 (environmental management)

We are also recipients of the prestigious JLRQ and Ford Q1 quality awards.
